Why Candidate Source Matters More Than Most Recruitment Businesses Realise
We quote 100 candidate leads a day.
The reality is it's actually well over 300 relevant candidate leads most days.
And of course, we don't count the irrelevant ones.
The reason we quote 100 is because those are the genuinely high-quality leads.
Every candidate is categorised and graded before we even begin qualifying them against opportunities.
That process is incredibly important to us.
Candidate Source Is Massively Underrated
One thing people massively underestimate about recruitment is candidate source.
Many recruitment businesses still rely heavily on job boards.
We don't.
We currently have 11 different candidate sources feeding into our business.
And we're planning to make that 13.
The objective is simple.
Generate more quality candidates than everybody else.
The more quality candidates you have access to, the more opportunities you create for clients and recruiters.
We've Invested Heavily In Building The System
Our system is highly configured.
Built on Salesforce.
We've invested heavily into it.
In fact, today we have two full-time developers working in the business.
For a recruitment company with fewer than 30 people, that's probably unusual.
We're not doing it to reduce headcount.
In fact, our biggest bottleneck isn't having too many recruiters.
It's not having enough.
We could comfortably handle another 10 recruiters tomorrow.
The investment is designed to generate more opportunities and make recruiters more productive.
Could Somebody Replicate It?
In theory, yes.
Most things can be replicated.
But not overnight.
And certainly not without significant investment, time and commitment.
A lot of what we've built has taken years.
A lot of experimentation.
A lot of failures.
A lot of ideas that probably sounded slightly crazy at the time.
But over time it has evolved into a candidate generation machine.
Scaling The Model
What we originally built in Legal Revolution across 10 cities and 10 practice areas is now expanding beyond 20.
We're now applying many of the same principles to Tax Revolution focused on CPA hiring.
And there will be more markets after that.
The model remains largely the same:
Build more candidate sources.
Create more conversations.
Generate more opportunities.
Give recruiters more leverage.

The answer is actually very simple.
We consistently have more good candidates becoming available through more sources than most other firms.
