I worked at We Are Revolution for 3 months and overall had a positive experience. The company has a very structured and fast-paced environment, but also one that feels supportive and focused on development.

One of the biggest positives is the training. From the start, there is a strong emphasis on learning the fundamentals properly, with daily coaching on sales techniques, recruitment processes, and business development. A lot of time is spent doing role plays and live practice scenarios, which really helps build confidence when speaking with candidates and clients.

Another thing I appreciated was that experience in recruitment isn’t essential. Whether you’re new to the industry or have come from a different background, the training is designed to bring you up to speed quickly. It’s very much suited to people who are motivated, goal-driven, and willing to put in consistent effort.

The company also uses modern systems, including Salesforce, along with other up-to-date tools to support consultants in managing their pipeline and activity effectively.

The working hours are clearly explained from the beginning and reinforced throughout the process, so expectations are set early on. The structure is built around US markets, so the day is longer than a typical office role, but this is communicated honestly before you join, which I think is important.

For people who are focused on earning potential, the opportunity is strong. The commission structure is around 15–20% with no threshold, meaning you can start earning from your first deal. Given the US legal market and deal sizes, there is real potential for high earnings if you are consistent and perform well. It’s an environment that rewards effort and persistence.

The team culture is ambitious but generally supportive, with a strong focus on accountability, improvement, and hitting targets.

The role is demanding, both mentally and physically. The pace is consistent throughout the day and it can feel like you are “on the go” for most of it. The working day runs from 10:00am–7:00pm, with a 30 minute break and a shorter break during the day, followed by an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of evening calling for US markets.

Because of this structure, weekday downtime is limited, and most personal time tends to fall on weekends. While this is clearly communicated upfront, it can feel tiring at times due to the intensity and consistency required.

Although the role is demanding, management are human, supportive and happy to help where needed to help anyone succeed as your success is everyone's success.

While the work was demanding, I learned an exceptional amount during my time there and gained valuable experience within the legal recruitment market. Even though I have been in recruitment since 2003, I truly appreciated the strong systems, processes, and superb training that were in place, which allowed me to continue developing and performing at a high level.

The environment is very fast paced and every day is highly structured, which isn't for everyone, but for me it created huge opportunities for growth.
